Artists Who Teach opening at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art

I will be exhibiting work as part of Artists Who Teach, an exhibition featuring contemporary artworks by 58 teaching artists from colleges and universities in southwestern Pennsylvania, which will be on view at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art from August 25 through November 25, 2018.

The opening reception for Artists Who Teach will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 6:30-8pm. The event will also serve as a special welcoming for the incoming Richard M. Scaife Director/CEO Anne Kraybill. The opening reception will be free, but guests can RSVP in advance at http://thewestmoreland.org/event/artists-who-teach-reception/.

This exhibition was organized by The Westmoreland’s Chief Curator Barbara L. Jones. Included in the exhibition are more than 100 works of art, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, stained glass and mixed media, all created using a wide range of mediums. The artists in the exhibition teach at Carlow University, Carnegie Mellon University, Chatham University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Robert Morris University, Seton Hill University, Saint Vincent College, University of Pittsburgh/University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg and Westmoreland County Community College.
