Garden Rooms envisions a future society dealing with the results of climate change. Influenced by global warming and the increase of drought in parts of this country, I depict a world where we must live more intimately with some of the very stuff that sustains us - plants.
Through photography and digital technologies, these “rooms” are speculative ideas of what our changed relationship with plants could look like. This project ranges from future visions to digital archives of the current state of indoor plants, to show how vital our reliance and relationship with the environment truly is.
